LogSheet speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard assistants use to reach the tools you already work in. Connect yours and it can answer questions about your own hours, absences and balances — without exporting anything, and without ever seeing your password.

How to connect
Your assistant needs one address. Add it as a custom connector, then sign in with your usual LogSheet account.

In Claude that is Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Other MCP clients call it much the same thing.
- 2Paste the server URL
Enter it exactly as shown, with no trailing slash, and leave the other fields as they come.
- 3Sign in and approve
LogSheet opens its own sign-in page and shows you what the assistant is asking for. Your password stays with LogSheet — the assistant never sees it.
Works with any assistant that supports MCP custom connectors. Whether yours does, and on which plan, is that provider’s decision, not ours.
What the connection can and cannot do
The connector has no way to write. It cannot create, change or delete an entry, approve a request, or alter anything in your account — every tool it offers only reads.
Names become initials with a short code, e-mail addresses are masked and your company becomes a 3-letter code. The assistant works with your figures, not with your colleagues’ identities.
You see through the connector exactly what you see in LogSheet. An administrator’s connection reaches the same employees the app already shows them, department restrictions included.
Settings → Connected apps lists every assistant you have connected, and revoking one takes effect immediately.
