Frequently asked questions

How do I get an account?
Your employer sets LogSheet up for the whole company. If your company has enabled your email domain, you can create your own account at logsheet.ch/register using your work email address. If registration tells you that no company accepts your domain, ask your company administrator to enable it — we cannot add you to a company ourselves.
I cannot sign in, or I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page, choose “Send password reset email” and follow the link we send you. Reset requests are rate-limited to prevent abuse, so if you trigger several in a row, wait a few minutes before trying again. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then write to info@logsheet.ch.
How do I record my hours in the iPhone app?
Clock in when you start and out when you finish, or open any day of the current month and type the times in directly. Daily and monthly totals, overtime and undertime are calculated automatically from your target hours and your employment percentage. When the month is complete, validate it so your administrator can review it.
My vacation day still shows as provisional. What now?
Marking a day as vacation, sick leave or time off in lieu records a request; it stays provisional until it is approved. Approvals are done by your employer on the web at logsheet.ch, not in the iPhone app. If a day has been provisional for a while, ask whoever handles absences at your company.
How do I delete my account?
In the iPhone app, go to Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your sign-in and your personal details, and you can no longer sign in on any device. Your recorded working time and absences are not deleted: they are the documentation your employer is legally required to keep. To have those erased, contact your employer — they are the data controller for that data.
Where is my data stored?
On Google Cloud in the Zurich region. Your company is the data controller for its employees’ working-time records; LogSheet processes them on the company’s behalf. The privacy policy sets out what is collected, why, and for how long.
